Zhaoxiang won the first 10 km cross-country skiing competition in China in 1957.

In 1959, the first competitive ski resort with international level was built in Tonghua city.

Natural resources

China Tonghua MVR Expo Village project is located in Liuhe County, Tonghua City, Jilin Province. Liuhe County is known as "a thousand year old city county, a city of willow green half city river". It is located in the hinterland of Changbai Mountain. "There are flowers and maple leaves in spring, cool wind in summer and snow in winter". The mountains, wetlands and lakes are in various forms and beautiful. It is a city of mountains, rivers and nature.

Liuhe County is endowed with unique natural resources: the forest coverage rate reaches 51.5%, the water area under control reaches 1624 square kilometers, there are more than 700 kinds of wild animals and plants, and the "Liuhe three treasures" of rice, wild ginseng and mountain grape are well-known at home and abroad.

Have a long history

Liuhe County began to be inhabited as early as 4000 years ago in the Western Zhou Dynasty. It belonged to Yan state during the Warring States period and Liaodong in the Qin Dynasty. Luotongshan ancient city was built in the middle and late period of Gaogouli 1600 years ago (Tang Dynasty). It is the second largest site of Gaogouli mountain city in China and even in Asia. In the 16th year of Kangxi's reign, it was the enclosure of Shengjing, and the county was established in the 28th year of Guangxu.

Red memory

Liuhe is the birthplace of the first party group in Changbai Mountain, the Northeast Anti Japanese base and the main battlefield of "four guarantees and Linjiang".
